Help is at hand!

WOW! we are really thrilled at the response we are getting from our local community. We have been approached by a whole range of different people that want to help!

From individuals interested in becoming regular volunteers at the new centre and others with just an hour or two to spare that are willing to roll their sleeves up and help out where they can, to whole groups of organised volunteers and local professionals chomping at the bit to make a difference! This project is certainly starting to capture peoples imagination and is truly becoming a real community project!

As the initial preparation work starts to reach the first phase of completion, from the initial clearance (thanks especially Jason & Aaron Bristow and the Bakers Arms, Upper Stratton, Swindon), really supportive help and guidance from planners plus a range of other 'officials', fencing, glazing and security from Ranch Fencing, Spooner Brothers and PFS Security then on to essential facilities such as electric, water, phone lines and gas finally almost all in place so now, at last, some of the reparation work can begin!

Thanks to the fantastic hands-on help, tremendous support and loads of sound, professional advice from a team of true local craftsmen; Martin Cook of MG Cook Carpentry, Dave Faulkner & Steve Lea (plumbing & Central Heating experts!), Phil Patton (specialist in domestic appliances and electrician) and of course special thanks for the kind guidance from retired builder Ray, the Wizard project is finally up and running!! Without their huge combined effort we certainly would not have even got off the 'starter blocks'!

... and a special thanks to our son Aaron.... what a star!
